Larry the Handyman

As many of you may know neither Scott or I are very good at fixing many things around the house. We can hold our own, but we know when to ask for help. That help comes from Scott's stepdad Larry. He is one of those guys that can do just about anything you need him to do. We had a list of a few item's....dryer was squeaking(of course it stopped before he came and hasn't started again), garage door wouldn't always open, and the new TV we bought needed to be put up on a bracket. Needless to say we kept him busy! A BIG THANKS LARRY!!!

While the men were working away Carol(Scott's mom) and I started to clean out the guest room closet. I needed to start organizing so we could clean out the baby's rooms closet. After a big pile to goodwill, relocation of a bunch of blankets, and a box to the attic the baby's room closet was cleaned and now contains a box of diapers, wipes, and a few toys was usually have at the house for our friends kids to play with. Once Scott is out if school for the summer we will kick it into high gear getting the room in order. Thanks Carol!
On another great note I finally got a new computer!!! My old one froze up everytime I was on it. I was very excited! My new computer has a webcam built in. This was a must! Once the baby is here I'm gonna sign up for Skype and I can have free webcam phone conversations. That way all of my family that can't see the baby often can have Skype conversations with us too! Mom, that mean a webcam is in your future..... I will post a picture soon of me totally destroying my old computer. I plan on stomping it to death!

Work, Work, Work...

It has been a long week! I started working in Lewisburg at PCL Express walk in clinic this week. Yes that now makes the count up to 3 jobs. I am so blessed to have great friends and great opportunity's to work. Because I don't have maternity leave at any of my jobs(part-time everywhere), I am working my butt off while I can to save save save! The more I save the longer a maternity leave I can have.

Not only has there been work but basketball playoffs are in full swing and our boy's are doing great. That mean lots of basketball games, which I love going too and yelling my head off! I hope the babe loves loud noise because these games are loud :)

Scott has been auditioning to be a house husband this past week. With me working everyday and not usually getting home until 7-7:30ish he has been cooking dinner and doing a lot of the household chores. He is wanting me to tell him he can stay at home with the baby and just me work.....yeah right! But I'll let him keep auditioning!

Today the weather is so nice! Ready for this cold weather to go away and spring to get here. I'm ready to start complaining about how hot it is! And trust me 7, 8, 9 months pregnant in June, July, and August...I will be complaining. But it is for a great cause!

I have been feeling great. Nausea is mostly gone. Still can't eat mexican, I'm gonna try again tomorrow. Going back to the doctor in 2 1/2 weeks, can't wait!

Hello blog world!

Ok, so we have(mostly me..Lacey) decided to join the world of blogging. The main reason is because of the little one on the way. We have family spread all over so this will be a great way for them to stay updated on the pregnancy and then our childs life. My goal is to update this every week. We will see how that goes :)

Today scott and I went to Dr. Paschall's for a routine appointment. Ever since I did my clinicals with Dr. Paschall I have loved her! She is a GREAT doctor! Also because she knows me she said she will do a ultrasound on every visit if I want...and right now I want. Today I am 14 weeks and 2 day. Everything is looking good. The babe had it's back turned to us the whole time, but we could see it kick and move it's arms. Dr. Paschall also said it's spine looked really good, like a railroad track. We go back on March 11th and on that appointment we will schedule the big ultrasound for the next week. Sooooo I'm thinking we will find out the sex either March 16th or 19th(my 2 days off that week). On a dissapointing note we were really hopping to hear the heart beat today because we haven't heard it yet, today it is still a no. We can see it beating away but because it has it's back to us Dr. Paschall couldn't pick it up on the doppler.

Oh and we went to the maternity store for the first time today on our outing. I only have one pair of jeans that still fit and they are getting tighter(plus they are highwaters and Scott makes fun of me everytime I wear them). So I got a pair of jean, some capri's for the summer, and a couple short sleved shirts. When trying on the cloths I put on the fake belly and opened the door to show Scott. Later when I asked him about it he thought I was pushing my belly out...Men...

Well Thats all for now. Catch ya later :)
